How about just the sun? Forget the Gx thing. Just Dull's yellow sun. I still like the symbolism of letting the sun shine in.

I know I already promised to be quiet on the topic, but just a quick comment.
*think print* ... whether paper, fabric, plastic, anything ... you can't have gradients, fancy lighting effects, drop shadows and the like ... just doesn't work.
Ultimately it has to drop down to 2 color line art for some mediums. Logo design needs to reflect that.
This is a very attractive *graphic*, but it could never be used as a logo ... |

What I like best about the bird is that it doesn't have that annoying Gx in it. Yeah I know it's the universal geocaching logo, but dang if it isn't ugly.
The bird looks alot like a Southwest Indian design. |

It is, I bet. Anyway, I've seen this before, it's nothing new, imaginary. That's what disturbes me. And the gradient. And the many colo(u)rs...

The last went to court against the first, for these had some (I think two) items in it's shop which had the taz-logo on it and which were similar to item one would associate with outdoor-equipment (a thermo-can and something else, bag or so). Wolfscin won and the newspaper people had to remove the goodies.
No good idea to use this motive.
